The Marriott Property Income fund is re-opening for new investments. The anticipated new listings in the property market are now materialising. We are therefore able to open the fund for a R100m tranche to participate in the listings (about R2.5bn worth) and the rental income streams that they generate. The fund will remain fully invested in listed property as per the fund mandate. The fund is open to all investors including those investing via linked products. The fund is also able to accept new debit order clients. The Marriott Property Equity fund will however not be open due to the fact that it has sufficient cash to participate in the new listings.
