BoE Unit Trusts have announced the reopening of their rand denominated offshore unit trust BoE Global Fund. The fund was closed to new business in June 1999 when it reached the 15% regulated limit on international investments. This limit was extended by the Finance Minister in his February budget announcement and BoE Unit Trusts have just received written confirmation from the Reserve Bank that their asset swap capability may be increased.
